This project aims at building a simple microblog using Flask. It starts with very basic Flask setup and then goes forwards to build a microblog based on SQLAlchemy.
- Setup a virtualenv (
pip install virtualenv)virtualenv virtualenv_flask --no-site-packages - Activate your virtualenv
source virtualenv_flask/bin/activate - Install all the requirements
pip install -r requirements.txt
Note: To deactivate the virtualenv, type deactivate
If your folder has manage.py, type ./manage.py runserver
Otherwise use python app.py
Since the order of commits is very important to me in this repo, I will be rebasing quite often, and doing all sorts of weird stuff with the commit history. So, just to be on a safer side, when you pull from the repo, do it in this way:
git fetch --all
git reset --hard origin/master
