This is a collection of tools coded in Python for network/system automation and troubleshooting. These are intended for to speed up automation (such as configure multiple network/system devices), automate repetitive task and/or to speed up network troubleshooting processes. Ideally for those who works with Cisco/Juniper networks, *Nix systems, datacenter techs, IT, etc.
dnsResolver_a.py - to resolve domain names to IP dnsResolver_ns.py - to resolve the name server (NS) record of the domain names dnsResolver_mx.py - to resolve the mail exchange (MX) record of the domain names dnsResolver_soa.py - to resolve the Start of Authority (SOA) of the domain names
The scripts will read the "domains.txt" file to perform a DNS lookup in order to resolve the DNS records for each domain listed in "domains.txt" file.
The "domains.txt" is a text file which must exist in the same directory where the script will be executed and the file must contain a domain or a list of domains to be read and processed by this script (one domain per line).

- A text file named "domains.txt" in within the same script directory with domain names listed in the "domains.txt" text file (one domain per line).

- Install dnspython
pip install dnspython
- Install dnspython
To run the program execute:
python3 dnsResolver_a.py
python3 dnsResolver_ns.py
python3 dnsResolver_soa.py
python3 dnsResolver_mx.py
The executed script will look for the domains.txt file which will execute a DNS querie to resolve the DNS record per each domain listed in the "domains.txt" file.
