URI Specification Development
This is a working area for the IETF specifications on Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), Relative URLs, and Hypertext References. It includes most of the editor's revision history for the specifications leading up to RFC1808, RFC2396, and RFC3986, along with various URL parsing tests, copies of related RFCs, and historical drafts.
Please note that the IETF URI working group concluded in 1995. However, we still use the URI mailing list for discussion of URI-related drafts by individual authors.

Building the Draft
Formatted text and HTML versions of the draft can be built using make.
