ubuntu desktop setup script

Installation

$ sudo apt-get install -y git
$ git clone git://github.com/dweldon/setup.git
$ cd setup && sudo ./setup.py

After Installation

privacy

Turn off "online search" and "record activity" in the privacy settings.

indicator-multiload

Add indicator-multiload to the list of startup applications.

updating node

Run as user: ./update_node.py

updating gedit add-ons

Run as user: ./update_gedit.py
