Getting Started

To run the Bookie App locally on your machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/dushyant-sharma937/bookie-app.git
  1. Navigate to the project directory:
cd bookie-app
  1. Make sure you have Flutter SDK installed on your machine. If not, you can download and install it from the official website: Flutter Official Website

  2. Install the required dependencies by running the following command in the project directory:

flutter pub get
  1. Obtain an API key from the Google Books API and replace the YOUR_API_KEY in the lib/api/google_books_api.dart file with your actual API key:

const String apiKey = 'YOUR_API_KEY';
  1. Run the Bookie App on your connected device or emulator by running the following command:
flutter run
  1. The Bookie App will now be available on your device or emulator, allowing you to search for books and explore their details.
