Detailed statistical analysis and data visualisation on past trends of the Indian Premier League(IPL) using Python Pandas. The dataset contains parameters of all matches hosted from 2008 to 2019.

Exploratory analysis is used to answer the following key objectives:

Which Venue has hosted the Most Number Of IPL Matches?

What was the most preferred Decision On winning Toss?

Which Decision has proved most beneficial for the toss winning team i.e Field / Bat?

Who has been awarded with Player Of the Match maximum Number Of Times?

Which team Has Won the IPL Trophy Most Number of Times?

The project is created with:

  • Jupyter Notebook

Setup

If you want to run the notebook yourself on your computer,then you'll need iPython notebook and Pandas.

Open a terminal and run:

git clone https://github.com/dishanp/IPL-Data-Analysis-Visualization.git

pip install jupyter
pip install -r requirements.txt

cd IPL-Data-Analysis-Visualization
jupyter notebook

A tab should open in your browser at http://localhost:8888 and you're good to go!
