- Create a new repository, call it
pull-request-practice - Send a collaborate invitation to the person sitting beside you. (be sure to get their github username or email)
- This person will have to accept the invitation that was sent to their email.
- Clone your repo.
- Create a new branch, name it after you.
- Switch to this branch and make a commit; it can be anything.
- push to your github repo which is most likely named origin.
- Create a pull request and add the other collaborator as a reviewer.
- Have them approve your pull request.
