Encoding in statusbar
About and installation
Display encoding in statusbar plugin for gedit 3.18. All credits to Tibor Bősze, I have only updated plugin to work with newer version of gedit. To install type in terminal:
cd ~/.local/share/gedit/plugins/
git clone https://github.com/darekdeo/gedit-encoding-in-statusbar.git
then enable plugin in gedit preferences.
