Introduction

This is a web interface to control an ROV. It was developed for my final year project at Portsmouth University.

Installation and usgae

The software is developed using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. No frameworks are used on the front end. The backend uses nodeJS along with web sockets to support real time communication. The software is developed for a raspberry PI. The PI will need to run node js

features

  • Control a stepper motor with a web interface
  • stream live video from the onboard camera
  • control both speed and direction
  • display live data from the ROV to the user
  • uses VR code to control access to the interface
