Compatibility: Ubuntu 16.04.04+ (older versions might be compatible)
This bash script allows you to easily setup and upgrade your fxserver on Ubuntu. All you have to do is run the script and edit your server.cfg
. It has been tested on Ubuntu 16.04.04 LTS.
The aim is to provide newcomers to Linux, who want to run a FiveM server, an easy way to get a basic server setup running. Currently it performs the simple setup steps that are described in https://wiki.fivem.net/wiki/Running_FXServer with some small twists. More features will be added iteratively.
- Fully automatic first time setup
- Easy upgrade fxserver, just run the script again!
- Clone the repository to your server machine
git clone https://github.com/d0p3t/fxserver-setup-script-ubuntu.git
- Navigate to folder
cd fxserver-setup-script-ubuntu
- Give bash script execute permission
chmod +x setup_fxserver.sh
- Run bash script
./setup_fxserver.sh
- Follow instructions at the end of the script
