Conducted extensive inter-disciplinary research between Operating Systems and Data Mining to simulate an operating system that improves the hit-to-miss ratio by predicting users’ behavior The algorithm adheres to the logic of the Optimal Page Replacement (OPT) algorithm. It takes into consideration the near-future requirements of the pages by tracking the user's activity and evicts pages that will not be required any sooner. The algorithm improved the hit-to-miss ratio by 78% in simulations. The following code provides a simulation of an operating system running with IPRA.

Developed an android application that displays the top ten lists of different categories like apps, music, albums, TV seasons etc and also displays some information about each item in the list. The user can select the category he wishes to view. The application downloads and reads Apple’s RSS feeds, processes the data from the feed and displays the information to the user. The content of the application updates automatically as the RSS feed updates. The application uses the XML Pull Parser Factory to read the XML file of the feed and display the information to the user.

Developed a user login web application for the final project of Java Programming at NJIT. The application caters to two types of users ie an administrator and a user. The user can create a profile, view & edit his profile on the homepage and set a profile picture. Creation of a new account by a user requires activation by the administrator. The administrator can activate and deactivate user accounts. The admin homepage displays the list of active and inactive users and provides functionality to activate and deactivate users. The application provides an option to reset the password by answering the security questions set during account creation. Certain security features are also implemented in the application like automatic lockdown of the account on three failed login attempts. The account can be reactivated by answering the security questions set by the user. Additionally, frequent password resets or frequent account lock-downs will permanently lockdown the account. The account can then only be activated by the administrator.

The application presents a swiss knife, where each blade of the knife offers different functionality. The user can perform different tasks like set an alarm, use the stopwatch, add calendar events, search for a contact to call or message, redial a most recent call and show the current address of the user.
