Notes on deprecation: with --expt-relaxed-constexpr most functions of std::array can be used in device functions. Sometimes I experienced problems with this flag in combination with debug builds. Rather use the array class from cuda-kat available here.
Resemble std::array for CUDA kernels.
This code is far away from being an optimal library. Thus I am happy to read your issues.
