CCEffectDropShadow not respecting CCSprite flipX property

The effect doesn't get flipped horizontally when a CCSprite's flipX property is YES.
Cocos2d 3.4.9
Confirmed. There are several problems with effects, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it right now.
