Express-React Project

This repository contains a simple full stack Express / React application. It is intended to demonstrate a wide array of features while still keeping the app simple and easy to understand.

Technologies Used

• Front End: React, Redux
• Back End: Express

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js version 16.13.0 or lower
• NPM version 8.1.0 or lower

Installation

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/your-username/express-react-project.git
2. Change directory to the project root: cd express-react-project
3. Install server dependencies: npm install
4. Change directory to the client folder: cd client
5. Install client dependencies: npm install
6. Return to the project root: cd ..

Usage

1. Start the server: npm run server
2. In another terminal window, start the client: npm run client
3. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000
