Expertise Matching has always been a crucial challenge of any HR department. In this paper, we propose to use state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning architectures to compare and make explicit the relevance and relative information of the elements of a person’s LinkedIn profile. We compare 3 architectures using different elements of such a profile to learn a professional representation of a user. We combine the inherently sequential nature of text to the hierarchical aspect of a career and attention mechanisms to learn better representations of people’s professional profile.
