Macros on Point

FRIDA at DTU has an amazing dataset of nutritional content. We can use this and linear programming to optimize a diet with specific limits of carbs, fats and proteins - for gains.

I'll exemplify this using a bookdown on various examples.

How do I get hold of the data?

Please follow these instructions to get the required dataset from DTU:

1. Visit FRIDA at DTU
2. Provide your Full name and e-mail address
3. Await an e-mail in your inbox with a download link. The download link will look something like https://frida.fooddata.dk/data/download/.../...
4. Leave the zip-file in the data directory of the repo once you've cloned/downloaded it.
