Scripts used for my Master's Thesis (2015) where I studied the properties of the Milky Way based on the output of the Illustris simulation. I used a k-D Tree search to efficiently searched through and analyze the billion particle data sets. This has been posted with written permission by my previous advisor. Note that coding style has not been updated. For Python 2.7. Results reported in Taylor et al. (2016).

This is a fun side project where I'm going to use a graph structure to represent the WMATA metro system. I will use graph searches to then find a path between stations. Currently uses a slightly tailored depth-first search algorithm.
