Welcome to my personal project! This is a demo project where I'm learning and experimenting with GTK4 and Rust. The main goal of this project is to understand the fundamentals of Rust and how to create GUI applications using GTK4.
Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- You have installed the latest version of Rust.
- You have a Linux/Mac machine. (The project might work on Windows, but it is not tested)
- You have read the Rust documentation.
- You have read the GTK4 documentation.
To install the GTK4 Rust Demo Project, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository: `git clone https://github.com/chokri/rust-gtk4.git
- Navigate into the project directory:
cd rust-gtk4 - Build the project:
cargo build - Run the project:
cargo run
This is a personal learning project, and I'm not currently accepting contributions. However, if you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to open an issue.
