Welcome

The goal of this guide is to create the perfect Mac mini alternative using the Intel NUC Hades Canyon (NUC8i7HNK/NUC8i7HVK) and macOS Mojave. This guide is not for setting up a Hackintosh for any other configuration (although many of the steps are the same across most configurations). For a general Hackintosh guide, the Vanilla Hackintosh Guide is highly recommended and is the main source of inspiration for this guide.

Overview

This guide is in two parts. The installation guide are for those who just want to get everything working. The details section goes into more technical details about the inner workings of the various patches and pieces glued together to make it all work. The recommended audience for the second part are for those with technical knowledge and interest in how things work.
