Patient records maintained by the hospital are always under serious threat by outside attackers. If information is stored in a blockchain system instead of physical memory , it can be secured from threats both externally and internally. Every system in each of the medical and administration departments will have the complete patient record. If any information is to be added, it will have to be first verified by all computers in the system and then it will be added. If attacker tries to modify information, the hash (address) of all the subsequent data will change and so he/she cannot modify information directly. We came up with a programme which takes in the user details, generates a hash value and mines the block using SHA_256 algorithm. It also generates a keycode which is used by the user for verification.
