Maze

Maze is a responsive grid built using Sass and HTML5, the grid is easily customisable with editable options for grid columns, gutter widths, break points and push values. Each content block reacts differently allowing for all content types and devices.

Semantic markup.
Cross-browser compatible (Chrome, Firefox, IE9+, Safari, polyfills can be added for ie8 and 7).

Guide

Include the grid mixin on each element in a row, adding up to the $$total-grid-columns variable.

@include grid(3)  -  spans 3 columns of $total-grid-columns
@include grid(6)  -  spans 6 columns of $total-grid-columns

Grid Ratio:

When the design does not fit a traditional coloum layout ratios can be used to create the grid. the $grid-size mixin argument overrides the $total-grid-columns variable.

@include grid(2, $grid-size:5); - Size Two of Five
@include grid(3, $grid-size:5); - Size Three of Five

Margin:

The grid’s default margin is set using the $gutter variable. To override this on any row add a value to the optional argument in the mixin…

@include grid(8, $margin:0) or
@include grid(8, $margin:4%)

Note: The margin needs to be consistent across each row.

Breakpoints:

Breakpoints are included in the same way as the main grid...

 @include grid(3)            - Desktop spans 3 columns of $total-grid-columns
 @include break(tablet, 6);  - Tablet spans 6 columns of $total-grid-columns
 @include break(mobile, 12);   - Mobile spans 12 columns of $total-grid-columns

Fold/Float Direction:

By default columns will float left and collapse from the right hand side of the page. To change this to right floated columns which collapse from the left add the value ’right’ to the optional argument in the grid mixin..

grid(3, $fold:"right"); - spans 3 columns is floated Right and will collapse from the left
