CardGate extension for Opencart 4.x

This extension supports Opencart version 4.x

Preparation

The usage of this module requires that you have obtained CardGate RESTful API credentials.
Please visit My CardGate and retrieve your credentials, or contact your accountmanager.

Installation

1. Download the most recent cardgate.ocmod.zip file on your desktop.

2. Go to the admin section of your webshop, and select Extensions, Installer and upload the CardGate extension.

3. Use the button to install the extension.

Configuration

1. Go to the admin section of your webshop and select Extensions, extensions.

2. Choose as extension type: Payments.

3. Scroll to the CardGate payment method and click on Install.

4. Now click on the Edit button of the payment method.

5. Enter the site ID, hash key, merchant ID, and the API key.

6. You can find these variables under Sites on My CardGate.

7. Now click on the Save button.

8. Now choose the CardGate payment method you wish to use and choose Install.

9. Click the Edit button of this payment method and set the Plugin status to Active.

10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 for each payment method you wish to activate.

11. Go to My CardGate, choose Sites and select the appropriate site.

12. Go to Connection to the website and enter the hash key, if you did so in the CardGate payment method.

13. When you are finished testing make sure that you switch the CardGate extension from Test mode to Live mode and save it (Save).
