FingerTracker

Using OpenCV + mediapipe libraries to build a hand/finger tracker in Python. Goal is to make a dynamic calculator.

How to run it

1. Download/clone the directory as a zip
2. In Command Prompt/Terminal, access the directory with cd (Insert Path name)
3. After you're in the directory, install the openCV and mediapipe module with pip install opencv-contrib-python and pip install mediapipe
4. Navigate to fingers.py and run the file
5. Hold your hand out with your palms out

Press d on keyboard to stop the video capture
