The Didaktik 40 is a retro-style keyboard taking its inspiration form the czech homecomputer, the didaktik gama. While offering its original layout, it also supports more modern split and single spacebar bottomrow configurations as well as two rotary encoders. The case is designed by gizzle13. It is a 2 degree, 2 piece case with top mounting for either simple or burger topmounting. It uses an old-school unified daughterboard for the usb port. The case and pcb furthermore support 2 leds, just like on the original case, and another hole to access the reset button.
The basic firmware is set up to use the leds as layer indicators. Top for layer 1, bottom for layer 2, both for layer 3. There is hardware support for a speaker and for rgb strip but this is not enabled by default due to firmware size. Also note that the audio and rgb haven't been fully tested yet.
The case is designed by gizzle13. Case files can be found in the respective folder. It is designed to use m2 heatinserts.
If you are in the EU consider asking gizzle to print the case for you to support them!
This PCB has been fully tested and confirmed to work. The members of the PCB development team are however not liable if you end up with a non-functional pcb. Order at your own risk. Support will not be provided but pull requests will be reviewed and possibly accepted.
