Use node version 12.0.0. Use nvm

nvm install v12.0.0 nvm use v12.0.0

Install nativescript globally by:

npm install -g nativescript

Run the app with the command:

tns preview

The command will ask you to scan code. Install nativescript playground and preview app. And see the app.
