[incomplete] The purpose of this project is to create a DIY security system that monitors and alerts for detected movement at certain entry ways to your home. The project will utilize multiple Raspberry Pis, as well as smart-home products such as Amazon Alexa, Philips Hue Smart Bulbs, and Bose SoundTouch speaker(s). The user will interact with a Java GUI application, on a small touchscreen mounted to the wall. The user may also interact with the security system on an Android application (iOS may be added future state).

[incomplete] A raspberry pi with vibration sensors connected to washer/dryer machines (on one floor of an apartment building) communicates over WiFi to another raspberry pi in the user’s apartment. Using flask, a web page will indicate whether or not the washer and dryer are still in use.

WeddingWebsite

The website I developed for my wife and I's wedding in 2017. This was also integrated with RSVPify so that guests could RSVP to their wedding invites (no longer active). Google Maps API was also used for mapping event locations and directions for guests.

Android weather app. This app uses the Forecast.io api to present weather data to the user.
