The Microwave Time Converter is a simple yet powerful web application designed to help you adjust microwave cooking times based on different wattages. This tool is especially useful when the wattage of your microwave oven differs from the wattage recommended on food packaging.
Almost all the code and icon created with following service + a few copy/paste works from human being, include this README.md.
- Time Conversion: Input the wattage and time instructions from the food package and the wattage of your microwave oven to get the adjusted cooking time.
- Save Preferences: Your last used settings (package wattage and microwave oven wattage) are saved for quick reference on your next visit.
- Progressive Web App (PWA): Install this app on your home screen and use it offline. The PWA technology ensures a smooth and native-like experience.
This web application can be used directly from a web browser without any installation. However, for an enhanced experience, you can install it as a Progressive Web App on your device.
- Visit Microwave Time Converter on your web browser.
- Add to home screen via your browser's settings menu.
- The app will now be available as an icon on your home screen.
- Enter the Package Wattage: This is the wattage for which the cooking time on the package is given.
- Enter the Package Time: This is the recommended cooking time on the package.
- Enter Your Microwave Wattage: The wattage of the microwave oven you are using.
- Result: The app will display the converted time in minutes and seconds.
