This work is in early Alpha stage and is led by the GSA FICAM Program in coordination with the ICAM Subcommittee of the Federal CIO Council.
This repository is for the collaborative development of the Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management PACS Development Playbook. The content is supporting the creation and future versions of identity management guidance, previously found in the FICAM Roadmap and Implementation Guidance v2.0, Section 9 .
Additional repositories are under development for contributors to share ICAM implementation guides, code, reference implementations, and solutions.
This content is Vendor neutral. Marketing materials for Commercial Products should not be submitted. If you would like to contribute a page or content which includes Commercial Products and a specific references for development and engineering, please review the Commercial Product trademark or copyright guides from the Product Vendor and reference those guides in your Pull Request.
Contributors should consider the audience when submitting content. Plain language benefits a broad audience. Review your proposed content for use of acronyms and specialized jargon before submitting.
The expected roadmap for these guides:
April 2016 - September 2016
- Migration of FICAM Roadmap and Implementation Guides from PDFs to digital, reworking into more focused, user friendly plays
October 2016 - December 2016
- On-going contributions and collections
- Deploy to server with a proxy, migrate to *.idmanagement.gov domain
- Contributions and submissions continue and feed continuous deployments
- All code contributions and scripts stay in repository
