Application Description and Installation

Description:

This application allows the user to input a string into a form which is then procesed through a POST request and then returns a JSON object with the key return_string and the value of a string that contains every third letter from the users original inputed string.

Technologies used:

• Node.js
• Express.js

Installation

• clone the repo into a code editor
• run npm install to install all the dependencies
• run npm run start to get the servers working
• go to port http://localhost:4444
• you can go to route /test or click the link to be taken to that route
• enter a string into the form and get your return_string
