WSJTX Callsign Notifier

Overview

WSJTX Callsign Notifier is a free application designed to notify users when their ham radio callsign is called through the WSJT-X software. The notification is delivered using Morse code, providing a unique and traditional way for ham radio enthusiasts to be alerted of activity relevant to them. Tested on Linux and Windows.

Features

  • Callsign Monitoring: The app continuously monitors the WSJT-X software for callsigns matching the user's callsign.
  • Morse Code Notification: When a matching callsign is detected, the app generates a Morse code notification, alerting the user to activity relevant to them.
  • Customizable Settings: Users can customize their callsign, location of ALL.TXT file and volume of notification.
  • Minimalistic Interface: The app features a simple and intuitive interface, making it easy to use for ham radio operators of all skill levels.

Usage

  1. Enter Callsign: Enter your ham radio callsign into the app.
  2. Adjust Settings: Set ALL.TXT file location (it is in your WSJT-X folder) and adjust volume settings according to your preferences.
  3. Run the App: Start the WSJTX Callsign Notifier application.
  4. Monitor Activity: The app will continuously monitor WSJT-X for callsigns matching yours. When a match is found, you will be notified through Morse code.

Configuration

  • Callsign: Enter your ham radio callsign into the app.
  • ALL.TXT file location: Set ALL.TXT file location (it is in your WSJT-X folder).
  • Volume: Set the volume level for the notifications.
