Requires Erlang to be installed on your system.
This is a command line tool. The easiest way to install it is to download the latest release and place it in your path. The tool is built in elixir and distributed as an escript executable.
You can also clone the repo and copy or link the ./convert_id executable to somewhere in your path.
If you'd like to develop on it the executable can be built with mix escript.build.
Thanks to @morinap for the idea who has a similar tool written in Python (not available on Github afaik).
