Basic Phrases App from Udemy Android Oreo Course
BookingApp
Workshop Booking app is an application that is made to demonstrate the interoperability between mobile and web application. This application is made as the final project to a college course that I enrolled in. The app has three components, which are the android app, the web server, and the database. In order to simulate the interoperability between two platforms, the android app is only able to access the database through the web server, or as we like to call it, API. The goal of the app is to make an information system that enable users to reserve a workshop or meeting room from the tip of their fingers.
MatchCardsAndroidGame
I made this when I first started learning android studio. I thought that I could make something simple for my niece to play with. It’s a simple matching cards game themed after Sesame Street’s characters. Fully playable and functional with endless randomized levels. I made my own algorithm to randomize the cards each time the level is completed. I also learned a lot about managing and manipulating arrays and array lists.
NotesApp
I made my own app to write notes once I got better at making android apps. The core functionality such as saving and editing notes are there, and working bug free. I was going for a simple grey layout, but now that I am better, it doesn’t look that appetizing. Well, at least I learned a lot during the progress of making this app. I learned about using fragments, communication between activities or fragments, recyclerviews and how to populate it, I also added night mode just because I could. The only thing missing is database support for data persistence.
