Getting Started

To run this Expense Tracker project locally, follow these steps:

  3. Open the index.html file in your preferred web browser.

Features

  • Balance Overview: View your current balance prominently at the top of the page.
  • Income and Expense Tracking: Keep track of your income and expenses separately.
  • Transaction History: Display a list of all your transactions, indicating whether they are income or expenses.
  • Add New Transactions: Easily add new transactions with a form that includes a description and amount.
  • Local Storage: Persist your transactions locally, ensuring that your data is saved between sessions.

Usage

  1. Open the index.html file in a web browser.
  2. Explore your current balance, income, and expenses.
  3. Add new transactions by entering the transaction description and amount.
  4. Transactions are automatically categorized as income or expenses.
  5. View the transaction history below the form.
  6. Hover over a transaction to reveal a delete button. Click to remove a transaction.
