Outcome of one fun night analyzing the data from pirate-bay torrent website. The website was recently shut down in Sweden as a consequence of which 372 mirrors were set up across the globe to make up for the shutdown. I analyzed the "genre" of files on pirate bay using the 900mb csv file containing approx 8 million entries. I was particularly interested in the frequency of "XXX" content on torrent apart from movies and tv series.

ZopNow is a big online grocery supermarket player in India (competing with the likes of BigBasket, Grofers, etc.). However, the data safety feature is really poor. This project came into existence when I was browsing through the website and realized that the Zopnow guys should perhaps be a bit more careful about the way data is transferred from their servers to the end user.
