it's an blogging application where the user can signup and create blogs, and perhaps share them with the world.

so, essentially it stemed from my curiosity to learn about next.js and how the server side rendering stuff works, and for firebase, have heard a lot about it, that it's quick way to piece together a backend, and yeah, while learning it did really seemed that way.
so yeah that's pretty much it :)
