MINIX 3 RPI README

This README contain the bear minimum instructions for configuring and building your own distribution of Minix 3 for the Raspberry Pi. It also contains useful documentation as well as ways you can contribute to the source code.

What is this repository for?

This repository holds the unofficial port of Minix 3 to the Raspberry Pi. All code in this repository is experimental and is not guaranteed to work out of the box and may require some tweaking to work on your platform.

The current version of the Minix kernel that is included in this repository is R3.2.1 as of 8/25/14 at 11:54 P.M.

How do I get set up?

To begin building your own distribution your build system must have the following prerequisites:

POSIX-Compliant system (Linux, BSD, etc.)
ARM GCC Cross Compiler installed
ARM Newlib installed
