This plugin adds a new Gutenberg block to the the "posts" post type and a sortable column to the posts listing page.
Download to your WordPress site and activate in the dashboard or via wp-cli.
Navigate to a new or existing post, look for the Event Date block in the 'common' block section and set the date accordingly.
