Birthday Reminder is an Android application built with Kotlin that helps users remember important birthdays by sending notifications. The app provides a simple and user-friendly interface to manage the birthdays of people in your contacts list.
- Add Birthdays: Easily add birthdays with names and dates.
- Notifications: Receive notifications for upcoming birthdays.
- View Birthdays: View a list of all saved birthdays.
- Edit and Delete: Edit or delete existing birthday entries.
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/andreicristianstroe/birthday-reminder.git
- Open the project in Android Studio.
- Build and run the app on your Android device or emulator.
- Open the app
- Choose a specific month to see a list of people with birthdays in that specific month
- The app automatically sends a template SMS message to the person whose birthday is on the current day
- You can also resend the message using the button from the notification
