smokers - a Rust version of smoke

This is a rust version of the excellent smoke tool. The motivation for rewriting comes out of the dependency hell that haskell is and the platform support nightmare that comes with it. It didn't want to require contributors to compile a test tool for multiple times the build time of my actual project.

Gaining feature parity isn't a priority or goal. For now this is just a very basic (inspired) version that allows running various tests and confirm assumptions.

Example usage

Smokers expects one argument: The YAML file that describes the test that should be performed.

Below you see an example of the currently supported test configuration:

# The command that should be executed.
# Can be provided as a single command string if it doesn't require any arguments.
command:
  - sh
  - -c
  - "echo hello world && exit 1"

# (optional) stdout text that is expected
stdout: "hello world\n"

# (optional) the exit code of the process
exit-code: 1
$ smokers test.yaml
No errors.
