Getting Started

git clone https://github.com/amq/hpc-training.git

Visual Studio 2019+

Install components:

• Desktop development with C++

Then Open a local folder or File - Open - Folder

It will automatically fetch all of the dependencies, taking a minute or two.

VS Code

Install extensions:

• C/C++
• CMake Tools
• OpenCL

Install compiler:

• LLVM

Then open this folder and go to View - Command Palette... and select CMake: Quick Start

After selecting a kit, you should see CMake: Debug Ready in the bottom of the window. Down there press Build to compile and Debug to run.

mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
cmake --build .
