Feature Extraction Procedure

• convert rgb image to grayscale.
  • it makes detection procedure independent of colors.
• reduce possible noise of image.
  • gaussian or bilateral filters used.
• bold vertical edges of image by y-direction derivation.
  • sobel filter used.
