Setup

Windows

Install-Module posh-git

macOS

chsh -s $(which zsh)

Installation

Download and run the install script, then restart your terminal. Alternatively, run the commands below.

Windows

macOS & Ubuntu

Configuration

Configure your Git user:

git config --file $HOME/.gitconfig.local user.name "<name>"
git config --file $HOME/.gitconfig.local user.email "<email>"

If you're using 1Password, configure commit signing:

git config --file $HOME/.gitconfig.local user.signingkey "$(op item get "SSH key" --fields "label=public key")"
