This package contains utilities to work with GeoNames exported data:
- cities-to-json -- picks cities and writes JSON output.
- countries-to-json -- converts TSV countries to JSON.
- filter-city-altnames -- extracts only cities from alternate names, adds country and population.
- localize-countries -- takes country names, add local names to form a JSON title.
- timezones-to-json -- converts timezone info from GeoNames' timeZones.txt TSV to JSON.
