Love Environment (lovenv)

Synopsis

The project is a Docker-based stack composed by:

• Apache NiFi
• Apache Spark
• MongoDB
• Jupyter Notebooks

Its main aim is to provide a set of tool to perform environmental data analysis.

Minimum requirements

• Docker Engine 18.02.0+
• Docker Compose

How to run

It is advisable to run using the docker-compose.yml file provided.

Run instructions:

• Build all docker containers with: docker-compose build
• Run all docker containers with: docker-compose up -d --scale spark-worker=N where N is the number of the desired Apache Spark worker nodes.

We use SemVer for versioning.
