The text adventure game The Adventure of Hog Jowl Mansion, written by Jon J. Waples, was originally published as a BASIC listing (i.e. source code) for the TRS-80 Model 1 and Model 3 computers in the magazine 80-U.S. Journal in January 1982. More details at CASA.
I found a copy of the game, extracted the source code, and converted it to BBC BASIC for the BBC Micro computer.
The BBC BASIC source code is in the file hogjowl.bas.
The file hogjowl.ssd is a disc-image that can be used with BBC Micro computers and emulators. It contains the playable game.
