Powerline fonts

This repository contains pre-patched and adjusted fonts for usage with the new Powerline plugin.

Installation

Run ./install.sh to install all Powerline Fonts or see the documentation for details.

Configuring Terminal and iTerm2

Terminal

  • Open the Preferences dialog for Terminal -> Settings -> Text -> Change
  • Next to the Font heading -> Select the Inconsolata for Powerline font and save.

iTerm2

  • Open the Preferences dialog -> Profiles -> Text
  • Change Font for the Regular Font to set the Inconsolata for Powerline font and save.
  • Do the exact same for the Non-ASCII Font setting as well.

Tip: If the colors for Powerline end up differing between Terminal and iTerm2, you might want to check to see if the colors specifications are the same. These predefined colors will effect the colors used in Powerline. If you use different profiles, these presets should be the same across profiles to keep from changing Powerline’s look.
