An example of wrapping a qr-code web component to be used in plain Java.
This is my effort in demystifiying web components for Java developers. I found a web component and wrapped that as a GWT widget. Then using this widget in a GWT project and a Vaadin project.
Three Maven projects:
- qrwidget: the actual widget wrapping the web component
- qrgwtapp: GWT app using the widget
- qrvaadin: Vaadin app using the widget

Disclaimer: the Maven setup isn't ready yet. Until further notice I'd suggest browsing the code by hand and simply take a copy-paste of the needed source code.
