Usage

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use the website created with the provided code for the quiz:

Accessing the Website: Open your web browser and enter the website's URL in the address bar or click on a provided link to access the quiz.

Starting the Quiz: When you land on the website, you'll see an initial screen that welcomes you to the quiz. To begin, click the "Start" button. This action triggers the quiz and starts the timer.

Answering Questions: Once the quiz has started, you'll be presented with a series of multiple-choice questions related to the topic of "BookTok." Read the question and the available answer choices. Click on the answer choice that you believe is correct. If your answer is correct, you'll receive a "Correct!" message, and a sound effect will play. If your answer is wrong, you'll receive a "Wrong!" message, and a different sound effect will play. Additionally, your remaining time will be reduced.

Timer: Keep an eye on the timer displayed on the screen. You have a limited amount of time to answer each question. If the timer reaches zero before you answer a question, the quiz will automatically end.

Progress: You can track your progress by observing the number of questions you've answered correctly. Your score is based on the number of correct answers.

Ending the Quiz: The quiz will continue until you've answered all the questions or the timer runs out. At the end of the quiz, you'll see a screen displaying your final score, which is the number of correct answers.

Submitting Your Score: You have the option to submit your score to the highscores list. To do this, enter your initials in the provided text field and click the "Submit" button. Your score and initials will be stored locally, and you'll be redirected to a highscores page to see how your score compares to others.

Highscores Page: On the highscores page, you can view the scores of other users who have taken the quiz. You can see where your score ranks among the highscores.

Play Again: If you'd like to play the quiz again, you can simply refresh the webpage or navigate back to the starting screen and click "Start" again to begin a new quiz.

Enjoy and Learn: Use this quiz as a fun and educational way to test your knowledge about BookTok and related topics.

That's it! Have fun taking the quiz and competing for a spot on the highscores list!
