πŸ’‘ Common troubleshooting issues:

Installing Streamlit: If you do get an error Could not build wheels for backports.zoneinfo while installing streamlit, run the following command:

export C_INCLUDE_PATH=/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/Library/Frameworks/Python3.framework/Versions/3.8/Headers

or add it to your .zshrc file, which contains the shell configurations and commands, and source it:

vim ~/.zshrc
export C_INCLUDE_PATH=/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/Library/Frameworks/Python3.framework/Versions/3.8/Headers
source ~/.zshrc

🎈 Run the Streamlit app

  1. Run streamlit run main.py from your terminal to deploy the app on local Streamlit server. This should automatically open a new window in your default browser. If it doesn't try Step 2:
  2. Navigate to http://localhost:8501/ in your browser
