This is the branch for the v5 version of BetterEdit, which is only for Geode - if you're looking for the old standalone version, see the v4 and v4-min branches.
Please note that BE 5 is still in very early stages of development, and many features are yet to be added.
BetterEdit 5 is currently available as an alpha version on both Windows and Mac. Android support is planned in the future.
If you'd like to try the next generation of BetterEdit out for yourself, you can get the latest binary from releases (download BetterEdit.geode).
If you would like to report any issues or suggest features, feel free to use the issues tab.
The source code of BetterEdit is available here mostly as an educational resource for other modders as well as for users to check the code.
However, if you would like to contribute, pull requests are accepted.
If you'd like to test out BE 5, you can find the latest binaries in releases. Please post any bugs you find / features you'd like to suggest as an issue. If you'd like, there's also a dedicated Discord server for the mod.
